The Administration of Death
The new Reich guarantees a brutal outcome. It's fight or die time.
Those who voted for Trump, and those who sat the election out, don’t understand the damage they’ve done. Yet. However, as the Orange One appoints fascists and unqualified sycophants to the highest positions in government, approved by Senate cowards who won’t stand up for the Constitution, and stand by as a certain billionaire sociopath illegally seizes control of the levers of government, they will find out. Only the most hateful and ignorant will remain in denial. You know, your fellow citizens that will beat you to death with a flagpole if you disagree.
Death is on the menu in this administration. In just a month, the intent has been made clear. Hell, the intent was clear in the 922-page Project 2025 manifesto explicitly detailing how to turn America into a white male dominated Christian fascist state, but a certain percentage of Americans would rather watch stock cars go in round and round for three hours and stuff their faces with grease and sugar than educate themselves. So here we are. The dumbest in America got their wish, and the rest of us, too. Oh, joy. It’s Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale for real. And we are so fucked, unless we fight.
The attacks on our physical safety and economic security have become apparent — unless you’re a Nazi looking for a job — then it’s a good time for you. Trump released the January 6 goons, signaling they and their like are free to commit violence. That violence is being aimed at immigrants who are often fleeing political oppression, ghastly poverty, and climate change caused by the American way of life. Now they flee to a country scapegoating them for the crimes of the wealthy. Secret: the violence is coming for you, too.
Immigrants come to do the dirty work we don’t like. They work in your Malibu mansion, if it hasn’t burned down yet superstar wannabe, cooking and cleaning, always meek and polite from fear. It’s all good, they work cheap.
They harvest in ever hotter fields that threaten their lives with wet bulb temperature death, and they get maimed in meat packing plants where the company doctor slaps a bandage on their gash and sends them back to the slaughter line. Desperate illegals don’t dare see a real doctor. They’ll be deported, or now with the newly installed regime offed to infamous Guantánamo Bay. Yes, Trump the Great has ordered expansion of the torture facility to house 30,000 people, and the stateside private prison industry is giddy.
Of course, the attack on immigrants and DEI are just one assault on our safety, future and ever elusive hope, of justice for all. Let me tell you another secret. You probably already know if you’ve been reading me. The real enemies are the billionaires destroying the planet and biosphere. Has there ever been a greater crime? Nazi gas chambers were mere buildings pretending to be showers. Now the gas chamber is Planet Earth.
Illegals are a distraction for the stupid, the ones swigging their cheap beer cleaning their guns, and grunting at car number 42. Now the stupid are running the show. Manuel, making you a burrito at the taco stand isn’t going to end your life, comprender? But the billionaires are, as I write, and will continue to do so. Every breath of air we draw, every morsel of food we swallow, every sip of water is filled with their toxic greed, even the bodies of our unborn babies, while their bullshit lying politicians, and rich lying bullshit preacher men profess the sanctity of those babies lives by supporting of toxic pregnancies, that kill women. Everything evil is parading as moral.
Trump and his ilk have no clue that climate change will destroy the economy in and of itself (or they do and are seeking to profit from it), let alone the far wider implications of overshoot, of which climate change is just one of nine planetary boundaries critical to our survival, six of which are breached. They include little things like novel entities such as endocrine disruptors which are sterilizing males, cancer causing pesticides, interruptions of nitrogen and phosphorus cycles critical to ecosystems and life, and ocean acidification. If you’re unfamiliar with overshoot, I don’t blame you — it’s cleverly not brought to you by the nightly news which serves steaming piles of half-truths — and exists to sell you pharmaceuticals. And remember, when the shithead conservatives say, “Drill baby, drill,” like it’s 1955, they have no clue that economically viable oil is near the end. By the way, that magical green economy the liberals have been selling you? It’s a farce. No oil means no diesel to run the heavy equipment necessary to mine, haul, manufacture and install windmills on top of mountains blasted flat, or giant solar installations destroying delicate desert habitats. The largest solar installation in the world in Xinjiang, China, covers an astonishing 33,000 acres. That’s like Manhattan times two. Hell, without fossil fuels you can’t even manufacture steel and concrete, let alone access lithium, cobalt, nickel, and copper for energy backup battery grids to store solar and wind.
Okay. I’ve trashed liberals and conservatives. Why? Because the health of our planet, which does not belong to billionaires, is NOT political. It’s physical reality that does not care about our puny machinations, and our political leadership, either side of the aisle, is not addressing it. One is in complete denial, and the other has been making promises they can’t keep.
However, now in addition to climate change and overshoot, we have a fascist takeover under way led by some of the dumbest, lying, immoral fools to ever knuckle drag the Earth.
On day one, Trumpty Dumpty diaper load signed an executive order withdrawing the US from the Paris climate agreement — again. He’s redeclared war on the EPA (in his first term he overturned more than 100 environmental regulations), and NOAA, the critical climate and weather agency, with the goal of laying off half of its 12,000 person workforce. FEMA is in the crosshairs as well, Trump wants to shut it down entirely. In 2024 there were 27 billion dollar disasters. Here’s a NOAA link, and a backup in case that one “mysteriously” vanishes.
Speaking of sociopaths
Additionally, Elon Musk is running amuck, firing thousands of government workers without cause, and claiming fraud without evidence, potentially destroying essential programs we depend on, and paid for, hello. These programs include Medicaid, which provides insurance to low-income and disabled people, and Medicare for the elderly. According to the 2023 Census, 36.8 million Americans live in poverty, over 11 percent of the population. That’s how it is when the three richest men in the world, Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg gather on stage for the coronation of a dictator in the making. Wealth that should be reasonably shared is horded, and has created this social rift that’s destroying the country.
Food assistance is also on the chopping block. Talk about direct extermination for hundreds of thousands, if not millions. In 2023, SNAP provided 42.1 million Americans an average of $211.93 per participant per month. Spending totaled $112.8 billion, or about a third of Musk’s personal wealth. WTF?
While we’re on food, watch what climate change and failed harvests are going to do to food inflation. Eggs and avian flu ain’t nothing. Considering that most American workers require more than one job to get by, and that half of those jobs offer no benefits whatsoever, one can reasonably see these entitlements we PAID FOR, that’s why we’re ENTITLED to them, a word which Republicans say with a sneer, ARE ACTUALLY CORPORATE WELFARE PROGRAMS to shirk the responsibility of providing reasonable security and benefits to the workers who make them rich. Musk’s illegal DOGE ransacking money appropriated by Congress, and dismantling social safety nets is a brazen crime to fund yet another billionaire tax cut, an eye watering $4.5 trillion also enabled by pushing the debt limit up $4 trillion.
The only difference between a high-end sociopath and a murderous psychopath is opportunity.

The Department of Health and Human Services, is now beheaded by “Bobby Brain Worm” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. I say “beheaded” because this is a man who once cut the head off of a dead whale with a chainsaw and strapped it to the roof of his minivan. This is perfectly alright as I have done this countless times, and bet you have, too!
His daughter, Kathleen, six at the time, described the whale head event like this:

Robert, a steadfast vaccine conspiracist, refuses to acknowledge decades of established scientific consensus that childhood vaccines don’t cause autism. This as a bird flu pandemic approaches, 66 human cases so far. As we recall from his trusted protégé, keep some bleach on hand in case you need a shot, and a powerful flashlight to shine up your ass in case there’s no sun. But don’t worry, WE’LL MAKE THE SUN GREAT AGAIN. I wonder where RFK, the lesser, stands on polio? Why? Because, polio is making a comeback according to those shlocks at the Mayo Clinic due to dropping vaccination rates. Hey, don’t step on my freedumb, baby.

I could easily make this article twice as long. Point is, if you don’t lay it on the line now, you may be dead. Remember duck and cover? The government said that could save us from nuclear attack. As ridiculously stupid as that was, it’s even dumber and more dangerous now. Have brave conversations. Organize your friends and family. Don’t buy shit, don’t fund billionaires. Make every decision as if your life depends on it, because it does.
I read a lot of articles from lots of sources including the NYT, WAPO, and the WSJ. When I want to "poke the beast" I write comments on their climate articles. A complete waste of time, I know, but it lets me interact with "typical readers" of these MSM outlets.
The IGNORANCE around the Climate Crisis is STUNNING.
When you spend most of your time talking with other "crisis aware" people it's easy to forget how LITTLE your "average citizen" knows about climate change or climate science. Because half of America considers teaching climate science in high school to be "woke, leftist, indoctrination". Your average high school graduate knows more about sex, drugs, and video games than they do about the changes in the global climate system that will determine IF they even have a future.
What's truly awful, is that high school is the LAST TIME most people are required to systematically learn about the world around them. After high school learning about any topic becomes optional and most don't make an effort.
Instead, almost all of what they "learn" about, well everything, will be by osmosis. Bits and pieces of information picked up incidentally from movies, novels, magazine articles, and conversations.
What I find in talking to people on MSM outlets. Is that even people who are CONCERNED about the climate and fearful about what they see happening around them, still know next to nothing other than what people like Hannah Ritchie and Michael Mann say. Basically that things are getting worse, BUT we still have 40-50 years before it gets "serious". They truly believe that the progress made on renewables and EV's is "turning the tide" and that once we get to NET ZERO all will be well.
And those are the "good people" who are trying to be informed and are concerned for the future. The level of ignorance among the MAGAts is beyond stupidity and deliberate refusal to learn anything. They have chosen to believe in a completely alternate reality. They have created an alternate world of evidence and "scientists" that they cling tightly to and will not be challenged on.
Some of them will have "conversion experiences" as our world begins to change around them. However, a LOT of them will go to their death's insisting that "climate change" like covid, is a hoax.
They are going to take the rest of us down with them. Mostly out of spite.
This is a chilling piece but reading it makes me feel less alone. I have been surrounded by religious conservatives for a majority of my life and they would gaslight me frequently.
