Re: AMOC Levke Caesar is an authority on it and has a pretty dire assessment of what is going on there. If it shuts down northern EU May be cooler, but elsewhere no. Pretty much everywhere would be f'd. This convo w/ Nate Hagans is well worth a listen. I follow you on Mastodon as ArrowbearMoore, appreciate your insight. https://www.thegreatsimplification.com/episode/124-levke-caesar

Thank you for the leads. Nate is on my list, hard to find time for everything I want to absorb. Was unaware of Levke Caesar, I'll Google him up. Actually, no, I don't use Google.

We literally stand on common ground, but need to face the threat together in order to withstand it. How can we face it together when we can’t agree on the direction it will come from?

There are no easy answers. Our commonality ought to be obvious. We're not going to be rescued from the top down, so every conversation, every opportunity is important. Work on those you sense most amenable to learning, and realize more than one conversation will be necessary. Also, keep in mind much of the problem is emotional. Citing facts alone can't work. As the better informed and wiser, we have to be patient listeners. The angry, misled people want and need to be heard. That's the start. Sometimes what we don't say is more important than what we do. Good communication starts with listening. That's our job. We don't have to win all the arguments, but we must restore communication.

Dennis has his flaws, but a call for a Department of Peace isn't one of them. We need that kind of discussion and change, don't you think? Dennis has not answered me, surprise, surprise, and of course, your welcome. This is what I must do until I can't, or it becomes pointless.

Dennis is kooky for sure, a long time Ohio eccentric. Those of us who live here stopped listening to him decades ago. Thanks for the read!

Peace is kooky?

Peace is utopia- not kooky but somewhere free of violence, hatred and disrespect. There are pockets of this social existence - but sadly it has not arrived in so many places. It is unravelling.
